Damn, it's been busy down here in Panama. John and I have been slapping things together faster than… well, whatever's really fast. This entry will be about what I've been up to professionally. I'll devote a separate and wholly different post to what's been going on personally.
Okay, I've been in Panama a while…
… and things really are going well. I'm doing work I enjoy (sysadmining a 25 Mac network and a soon to be 50-phone VoIP network too), I'm getting paid well, and I'm feeling the healthiest I have in a very, very long time.
So... tired. And pissed off.
Now that's an endurance trial. Spent just over 30 hours these last three days (9a-8p, 9a-8p, 7:30a-4p) setting up a truly beautiful (and horribly malfunctioning) Mac OS Server 10.4 web/mail/fileserver and Open Directory master server, then slaved 8 workstations, transferred e-mail and files from a 10.3 server (oh boy!) and overall spent a lot of time on the phone with Apple.
Updates, oh my!
Oh yeah, just remembered (I'm really tired, okay?) - had a job interview today.

花鳥風月

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man person perish, yet the inward man person is renewed day by day.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

— 2 Corinthians 4
