Wist, pt. 1
This is a story I wrote a long, long time ago. I eventually used it as the basis for a character in an online, forum-based, role playing game. I stumbled across it today and thought I'd polish it up a bit and post it.
Near-Total Darkness
She sits, cross-legged on her bed in near-total darkness. The only light in the room supplied by the amber charging indicator on her laptop and the filtered sodium glow of the sprawling city flowing through the gap in her curtains. The room is spartan; marble floor, concrete walls, one desk for laptop and speakers.
Light in the Abyss
I wrote this a long time ago, but I've recently touched it up and realized that, hey, I don't have any of my poetry or prose online at the moment. Might as well post it as a blog entry, ne? For best effect, start playing each song about half-way through, starting with Broken by Seether feat. Amy Lee... now. I actually have quite the playlist set up entitled "Soundtrack", featuring these songs, in this order, near the top. My brain plays music as things happen during the day if I'm not listening to other music at the time. It's strange having your own mental soundtrack.
Those that Hate
A short work.
Stream of Consciousness
Read in one breath.
Storytime
Here is a story I started a little while ago. Got a call from a friend recently who is taking English in college. Fuck, he's good at writing. Makes my writing look like pond scum. Ah, well, what can you do?
Love, on the subject of.
Okay. So this is a subject I bet no-one looking at this would have ever expected. People pestering me to update my site. So... fine.

花鳥風月

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man person perish, yet the inward man person is renewed day by day.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

— 2 Corinthians 4
