Where do you want to go today?
I had originally thought that this was Microsoft Corp.'s slogan, but to my dismay I have discovered otherwise. I purchased online a MacBook from Apple Canada's online store.
I purchased "expedited shipping" for an additional $28 or so, and found my laptop and single accessory seperated at birth. The video adapter accessory (Mini-DVI to TV) has arrived, a full day ahead of schedule, after traveling from its origin of Rancho Cordova, California, through Memphis, Tennessee, Seattle, Washington, and Richmond, BC, it hopped over to the Island and eventually to my doorstep via a local courier.
The MacBook itself is taking a liesurely route from Suzhou, Connecticut to Anchorage, Alaska, and south from there. As mentioned, the dongle arrived ahead of schedule, it left on May 26 and arrived this morning, May 31 - five days. The laptop left May 30. Being much closer than the dongle was in the same time-frame, I expect it either tomorrow or the day after, with an estimated date of Jun 5th.
I can't wait! *squee*
