A game, respect, and love.

A discussion on varied topics.

Game: Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. It kicks ass. It really, really kicks ass. There are several websites about it, but this is the primary one. Then again, there's the official server, but it hasn't been updated in a dog's life. I primarily play on Drestin's server with the handle 'Darkstorm'.

Respect: Ah, respect. Spell it out loud, and you've got a song. A really, really, horrible song. Here's my outlook: respect I give freely, to be lost. Many have lost it already.

Love: Mmm, love. Love is a different matter. Love has to be earned, either by blood relation and living arrangements, or by... I don't know how to describe it with English. Or any other language - love just is. ("A rose by any other name...") A recent comment from my g/f got me thinking - she was very afraid that I'd consider her to be weird with a capitol "strange" at what she said, and that I might run away. *sigh* Self esteem is good, but outright fear is not. I'm glad she finally told me, though... hopefully this will re-inforce some better thoughts.

"How can so many people be wrong?" (O great g/f, don't hurt me for quoting you ;-) All I can say to this is: Microsoft and George Dubya Bush. That many people can be wrong, and that's a lot of people. "Americans?" ... Canadians arn't much better, despite what we want to think, trust me.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man person perish, yet the inward man person is renewed day by day.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

— 2 Corinthians 4
